Shift Solenoid G Stuck On

The transmission's G shift solenoid is stuck in the on position, remaining energized even when the transmission computer commands it off. This locks the solenoid in an active state and disrupts the normal hydraulic control needed for smooth shifting. The transmission may shift erratically or refuse to shift into certain gears.
