Exhaust Gas Recirculation Temperature Sensor "B" Circuit Low

The EGR temperature sensor B is consistently reading lower temperatures than expected, indicating a sensor malfunction or wiring problem. A low reading prevents the engine computer from correctly adjusting the emissions system. The sensor may be faulty or the signal wire may be disconnected or shorted to ground.
